Edwin Kim, MD

Dr. Edwin Kim is a medical director of the Pennsylvania Physicians' Health Program of the Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and double board-certified in psychiatry and addiction psychiatry.

After earning his medical degree from Saint George’s University, School of Medicine, Dr. Kim completed residency in Psychiatry and served as Chief Resident of Clinical Education at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He then completed a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania prior to joining faculty at the Perelman School of Medicine and serving as the Medical Director of the Charles O'Brien Center for Addiction Treatment at the University of Pennsylvania.

Currently, Dr. Kim maintains clinical privileges at Penn Medicine and the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System. He continues the important work of teaching medical students, residents, and fellows as a Clinical Assistant Professor (Affiliated) of Stanford University School of Medicine. He sits on several FSPHP committees (Public Policy, Publications, Ethics) and currently serves as Chair of the Membership Committee.
