The FIGS Awesome Humans Foundation is accepting applications for grants and scholarships that support healthcare professionals.
Through four distinct grants (and more to come), the Foundation will meet Awesome Humans where they are:
- Rapid Relief for Awesome Humans – Fast, flexible financial support when life takes an unexpected turn. Open year-round to those who live or study within the U.S.
- Ubuntu Grant – Funding for mission-aligned nonprofits building innovative programs that strengthen and support healthcare professionals. Applications open July 1, 2026 - August 31, 2026. Open to U.S. and registered international non-profits.
- Healthcare is Human Award – Honoring those changing the system from within through courage, leadership, and advocacy. Nominations open July 1, 2026 - August 31, 2026. Nominations accepted for U.S. and international healthcare professionals and students.

We encourage all PHPs to:
- Proactively share the Rapid Relief for Awesome Humans information with PHP participants who may be experiencing sudden financial hardship.
- Consider applying for an Ubuntu Grant for nonprofit initiatives that strengthen and support healthcare professionals in your state or region.
- Identify healthcare professionals affiliated with your PHP who embody “Healthcare is Human” and submit nominations during the open period
